What are the membership privileges?

Members may use their lapel pins as a coupon for discounts with our society-partners (see our website www.mariansociety.com for our list of partners).

Members benefit from the society's prayers for one another.

Members may receive ministry formation from the society events, or Diocesan Sponsored opportunities.

Active members may use their attendance at Society events for renewal of Catechist Certification in the Diocese of Arlington (any level).
What do members do?

Members are invited to register for formation days, offered quarterly during the school year.

Members will receive advanced notice of the Diocesan Catechetical Conference.

Members are to pray for each other and the faith formation ministry of their parish and diocese, according to their state of life.

Members will receive an e-newsletter quarterly.

Members are encouraged to attain and maintain Catechist Certification.

Members are to support their parish faith formation efforts by teaching and helping with parish events.

Members are encouraged to assist with fundraising and awareness events.
What is active membership?

Active members will purchase a lapel pin at a discount to wear as a witness and to use for discounts at partner locations. Coming soon!

By attending 3 events a year, membership will satisfy catechist certification renewal (any level). We will track attendance with a sign-in sheet at every meeting.

Members may submit special prayer intentions on our website, to be included in prayers when we gather at our meetings.

Active Members (regularly attending) will receive advanced registration for special events (pilgrimage/retreat, etc.)

Active Members are to support their parish faith formation efforts by teaching and helping with parish events.

Active Members will be invited to assist with fundraising and awareness events. These funds may be used towards parish initiatives to promote the faith.
